Hudson hawk

only took me about 25 years from playing the speccy game to seeing the film :)

This film is mental. Can see why it was panned on release (and maybe still now?)but I thought it was ace. Took me about 10 minutes to get my head around the weirdness of it but loved every second after that. Way too many super-serious 'oooh I want an Oscar' films around now. anyone who's not seen it (except you probably all have) should check it!

Seconded. It is a fun film. A complete ego trip film for Bruce Willis, but still a better effort than the last two Die Hard films.

"Bunny! Ball Ball!" Still cracks me up every time.

  • I've not seen Hudson Hawk either.

The girlfriend wants to watch The Girl on the Train this weekend on DVD. Maybe I should see if I can pick up a copy of HH, as a surprise :D

I'd agree with that. It's not a bad movie but not a patch on the original. Not seen 4 or 5 but I did enjoy 3, if only for the Willis/Jackson banter.

And another +1 for never seeing the HH movie...

    Or played the game.
  • This is the film condensed into 9 seconds. Its something, but its not Die Hard.

  • Reminded me of this...

You can tell Bruce Willis is f'kin livid, but he has to act like he's laughing along..
  • The only thing I like about the newer Die Hard movies is Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Last year she said she'd like to have her own Die Hard movie. After Cloverfield, I think she can pull it off.

Red was better than the DH films.

The first one was - the second one sucked donkey balls.

Agreed. And Ricky Gervais was at his cringe making best on those Golden Globe awards.
  • Red was nice for two big reasons.
