Also it is good to remember that Hospital food sucks, but people can still bring you Pizza, burgers, etc

Except when zx1 is your relative!

I noticed you don't get a lot of food on hospital saucers. I guess if you're sitting/lying on your arse/back all day, you don't really expend much energy. I think I had a corned beef salad, a couple of miserly pieces of corned beef and a couple of bits of tomato and lettuce.

So perhaps we should post hospital saucers if we are unlucky enough to be there.

The whole idea of ordering a meal in Hospital is a joke as well, My ward was the last to be served and by the time the food reached us it was cold and the people before us had claimed what we had ordered and all we had left was their rejected choices, why does it always taste of Bandages anyway ?

  • I rarely chew my food enough and can sometimes recongise what I've eaten when it comes out the other end. I've pooped whole peas.

    Even sweetcorn ?

I have people to chew my food for me, when they are otherwise engaged, I have everything blended.

Cheers :) Yep, I'll get those porky treats ready in the emulator. I've never played Psycho Pigs UXB but it interested me back in the day. Or maybe that was just the advert in the mags ;)

Yep. Those kids are still traumatised after trick or treating at MustrumRidcully's house.

  • I've choked as a kid on a fish bone, as a kid they turned me upside down in the garden and dislodge it. about hhmm 2-3 years back I was eating a pack of crisps late at night, then choked on that, luckily I dislodged it as no one was about. also broke a tooth, and it gave when I was eating a rolo... so I avoid em.

the thing with the coca cola, maybe like how it is with a blocked pipe, but for humans.. washing up liquid in warm enough water.. and it unblocks a pipe, I've used that a few times.. obviously we can't drink washing up liquid. I guess it's the cokes fizzyness etc? or it reacts to pork.. they use it as a marinade if I remember right, or bbq's with chicken ?

there was a thing about dieting that I was watching, they tested people chewing 15 times and 30 times. if you chew more you eat less and I guess it would have helped in your case as well.

there was also a thing I didn't know about, I saw the other day. doing Heimlich manoeuvre on yourself , handy to know

I think it's the fizz or the acidity that is supposed to do the trick. Didn't work for me though!

Yeah, I guess it means you take more time over the food and your body realises when you're full rather than wolfing it down and only noticing once you've eaten too much. I'm chewing my soup at the moment, just in case...
