  • contains a bit of wood, plastic and a slightly used/damaged E.T. cart.
Could be great, could be pants.... let's wait and wait and wait and see.
  • Utterly useless advert.
Website: Tardis Remakes / Mostly remakes of Arcade and ZX Spectrum games.

  • yeah it is a little cryptic isn't it, it shows you absolutely nothing.

Therefore I have absolutely nothing to even be remotely excited about, especially if it's a refurbished Atari, I already have one of those, and it's a bit crap tbh :))
    Every night is curry night!
  • The article I linked to states this:
"...On Friday, in an exclusive interview with VentureBeat, Atari CEO Fred Chesnais confirmed that the longstanding interactive entertainment entity, which filed for bankruptcy back in 2013 but is now in the midst of a mobile gaming (and apparently profitable) comeback, is indeed working on an upcoming console revival. Beyond the teaser, few details are currently available about the system, though apparently it's "based on PC technology"..."

And yes, all of the same questions pop up about what it actually is.
    What now?
  • They don't say if it'll be cartridge based, because the revival of those machines seem to work extremely well these days :))

Yeah but what they don't say is that current Atari is Infogrames and is not connected to the Atari of old. And Infogrames wasn't exactly a quality company in the first place.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.
