  • The whole film is great, but if I have to choose a scene in it, this might be the best

  • Life of Brian Stoning scene

  • Threads - the bombing scene. Still incredibly moving.

    Jesus christ, theyve done it

Indeed, it was filmed where i come from so has particular sentiment, watching the shops on the moor etc blowing up lol
Without fail it manages to bring tears to mi eyes, Massively powerful for 1984 tv.

Conflict nicked loads of the sound from that clip for their Ungovernable force album

You cannot win a nuclear war

  • Thankyou everybody! Absolutely spot on choices that made me grin like anything. They're all good and better still I hadn't known about some like Get Carter for example. Bookmarked just about all of 'em.

  • Weird I was just thinking about that film at work the other night, think I told that girl I know to find it and watch it for a really messed up cartoon. You think it's almost normal, almost a kids cartoon from the trailers for it that were on just about every VHS you hired until about 1989.

Then you watch it, and it completely messes your head up, it's almost as disturbing as the burrows full of dead rabbits in Watership down :O
    Every night is curry night!
  • ^^^ It's ok Booxie, they were stunt rabbits. They were really good actors.
