  • There was a ghost hunter in the 1940's called Harry Price and he also faked ghost sightings (most famously the Borley Rectory hauntings) he was also proved to be a fraud. I wonder if he just used his name?

    I thought Harry Price exposed the fraud ghosts? Found fake hauntings and exposed the owners or tenants for making up the stories?

    I think you may be right, but he did fabricate some evidence himself to make things more interetsing.
    But some tennants at the property reported nothing out the ordinary.

  • Using a middle initial though is usually a way of specifically differentiating yourself from someone with the same name. That and if the publishers weren't aware the games were dodgy, he probably couldn't have used a pseudonym or he wouldn't have been able to cash the cheques!
