Request: bury x-rated

Somewhere in the original text of WoS it said that it wanted to keep the adult material away from kids browsing the site. I can't find the page anymore (largely because a lot of the old URLs don't work), but now with the categories down the right hand side, the X-Rated category is prominent.

For the sake of kids (my children and the future generation of speccy fans), can the so called X-Rated category be buried out of the main viewing forum of the site?

  • The archive page on the new site is based on the archive page from the old site.

However, I will be moving that link to somewhere else...

Might be worth a visit to luny.co.uk.

    Seconded.
I wanna tell you a story 'bout a woman I know...

Except that it _only_ appeared on a single page on the old site (and below the fold, long after "games" appears), but it doesn't appear again on the search results, the individual pages, or anywhere else.

Whereas now, the x-rated link appears both above the fold AND on every single game link. Which has dragged its prominence right up.
  • Currently the first game showing on the first page of this site (The Maze) definitely belongs in the X-Rated section - if you don't believe me then skip to the end of the walkthrough video...

Agreed. I think I'll remove it completely, and just have a tick box to include them in filters and searches

  • The Maze doesn't appear to be classified as adult - there are also crudely drawn sex scenes as wall blocks as well as the smurf-porn erm... climax.
