Spectrum emulator on a Motorola mobile phone

edited April 2005 in Emulators
A friend of mine has bought a new mobile phone, a Motorola V600 (or V6000, or something) and has been downloading games for it, and so I was wondering if there was a Spectrum emulator for it, or some way of running a Java Spectrum emulator on it, so he could play some real classics?

Thanks for any replies.

The Motorola V600 is compatible with J2ME and there's an emulator called MobileZX on the emulators page. Not sure how it would be installed though!

Hm, you know those battery powered TV game devices shaped as a controller which hold loads of retro games... I wonder if Amstrad would make a small Speccy with hundreds of games built-in. You could just plug it in to the phone line (like with some expensive remote controls) and download new games.

I'll apply for the next Apprentice and mention it!

Thanks, I've e-mailed my mate with the URL of this post so he can try the emulator.

I must admit i thought i would hate the Apprentice but i've been watching each episode since i found it on tv.

Full of a bunch of tossers talking london market bull and all been trained the same at Uni to act alike but the actual programs quite good.

The US version is very tame compared to Alan Sugar and the way he slates the people.
