BTW they were two separate things ... the original posting had to do with the QL book only.

Well I suppose you can report someone but I don't think eBay would do anything about it...

Nope, under eBay's rules, feedback is optional. It does not break T.O.S not to leave it.

Threatening to give negatvie feedback if someone doesn't do xyz, is technically against their rules.

I used to leave feedback first after receiving an item or sending one but after getting comments from someone as the seller moaning that i took 2 days to send the money instead of 1 day (you can take up to 7 i think) or buyers moaning because a book they bought for 49p has a bit of a tear on a page i think sod it and wait for them to leave feedback first.

One american seller moaned that the top we sent her was a different designer top to the one she thought it was, it was her fault but either way she got a designer top for 1.50 ! Some people !

I get seriously stressed with some people on ebay. Had 3 major pains ever...

    1) a guy in Singapore, went to buy a Louis Vuitton for my missus, realised after it was a fake (despite the high price) and he also used a different conversion rate from ebay after i won it (which was much more !). Final email from him was telling me to drown myself !

    2) HUGE bustup with some bitch, after 3 weeks of nothing we left her neg feedback, she emailed us saying she was in Japan during that earthquake (was true) and shes sent the cheque now so i said sorry but how were we to know , i'll look at getting it changed. She then left us neg feedback 2 days later (if she did send a cheque why didnt she leave us enough time to get it and cash it ?). She also lied constantly and made out she couldnt have paid for it earlier (how come then on her ebay list she had paid for 5 other items the same day ?). Basically she had forgot, went to Squaretrade (complete waste that is), she was accusing us of cashing her cheque and never sending the item (we never got it!), after 2 weeks and countless emails she finally said on Squaretrade yes the cheque hasnt been cashed (never had been sent). Squaretrade were absolutely useless and that was that, despite admitting she never paid nothing happened , bunch of crap

    3) The only other one was that american woman moaning about that cheap top which was a designer label.

Apart from that i've had very successful purchases but there really are some complete t*ts on ebay which can wind you up a treat. Shame
