Tetris without a doubt. I played it so often that every time I looked at a blank piece of wall I kept seeing falling shapes in front of my eyes filling up the empty space. I found Fuxoft's Tetris 2 to be ridiculously addictive as well (one of the most highly underrated and little known Speccy games IMO).

I remember a PC version of a 3D Tetris with a top/down view (like looking into a barrel/box) ... does anyone here remember the name of that one as I would like to get my Tetris addiction into full gear again.

Never played it, but it sounds like Welltris.

    Manic Miner: Unquestionable

    Jet Set Willy: Also unquestionable

Chuckie Egg: Basic jump around puzzly goodness.

Yie Ar Kung Fu: I loved this and I remember a night where I went round about 9 times in a row before I thought to myself I'm bored my hands hurt and I should have been in bed about 3 hours ago....I was 9 years old at the time. The only thing I disliked about this game was the absense of Feedle and Chain.

Cobra: I played it over and over.

Green Beret: I wasn't bad at it and even though I have various (ahem) other versions of it I still like the speccy version best.

Hyperlane: I couldn't stop playing this when I was younger. This game also proves that you probably were better at games when you were younger. I was great at this about 17 years ago. Now I'm crap, I blame newer platforms for the decline in gameplay skills.

Way of the Exploding Fist: I can still spend 4 hours playing this without realising until I look up and realise it's dark and the cat has died of starvation.

    Every night is curry night!
