"The Tipshop has hints, cheats and/or POKEs for this game!"

That wasn't too hard to find now, was it?

Basically (and I know some computer geek will correct me here....)

Pokes are instructions sets issued to the game program to change a value. So for example if you have 10 lives and you issue a poke of xxxxx.255 you then have 255 lives or xxxxx.0 and infinite lives, where xxxxx is the location of that part of the program

In the good old days we used to type in a little BASIC program to let us access the main game program then issue our poke commands....

Now we just use an emulator that lets you enter pokes...

So find a game, find some pokes and cheat away...there's all kind of pokes such as lives, no monsters, infinte time etc etc

Nice game, liked the screen with the bouncing guard dogs! Also if i remember theres a screen with five lookalikes who try to kill you (i think) i can't get past that screen. Some guards kill you but some just talk to you.

Yes I remember thinking the same way about Movie, Driller and Nightlore in the same way as Doom, thinking it was truly amazing that such a lifelike world could be created inside a computer.

I think it's a real shame now that kids lack that awe and wonderment of computers becuase it was the coolest thing about them...

Then there was mercenary how much did I play that and elite the list is endless....
