What, he did you for postage as well?! I'd be emailing him about that, postage costs are all very well if you win the item!

Staying with Ultimate, have a look at this one. I was thinking about buying the "black box" Ultimate titles, chiefly coz they look so nice and enigmatic. 26 quid though?! I may be altering my plans somewhat. I'm sure I saw Underwurlde going at the Buy It Now price of 6.99 a few days back. I should have bought it then. Ho hum.

    Cordially,

Thankfully, I have all the big black box Ultimate games - 2 copies of Sabre Wulf (1 copy doesn't work, but the box and instructions are nice), 2 copies of Knight Lore (1 I had when it first came out, the other I just seem to have acquired), only 1 Underwurlde, 2 Alien 8's and 1 Nightshade. They just all look aces together.

Whats with these prices - Black box Ultimate games used to only fetch about ?5 - ?10?

It's an interesting twist on most ebay auctions. More power to him.

I've heard of this sort of thing before. I remember smeone selling a house in the same way (it was posted on here I think).

eBay have withdrawn the item for auction as it breaches eBay policy. ?3 refunded. That's me flush again.

I missed that - what was the auction, and how did he rip you off?

Aww come on, what did he buy?

I bought nothing for 300 pence then got my money back. You can't say fairer than that.
I left positive feedback, of course.....
