  Would this type of technique be feasible with a Lords Of Midnight type of landscaping game?
  
  There was talk of a colaborative effort in writing the third installment of the series "The Eye Of The Moon". Just thought the background graphics could be improved tremendously with more colours in an 8x8 pixel square...
