I remember playing a game in the mid 80s.It was based in a maze with two car like type objects that you controlled.one car chased the other car in a tag like affair.Does anyone know the name of this game please?
just downloaded it and it isnt the game. The game im after had better graphics and you could go up and down tiers by a junction that looked like a square on the map.
Funny thing is that I had it on my spectrum but I didn't have a joystick (I don't know why but I couldn't move anything in the game nor the main menu) until I played it on anemulator and switched to Kempston joystick :)
If it isn't any of the above, then perhaps The Shaky Game? (and what a shak(e)y game it is too - oho!)...
I always used keyboard for Clive Brookers games - although perhaps having a joystick plugged in might make the games choose Kempston automatically? (I don't think that's the case, but I haven't checked for sure).
There isn't a Speccy game that I know of that forces the player to use a joystick, although Uchi Mata is unplayable without a joystick (but you still get the keyboard option anyway).

I've got that on the PSP (ok I know it's not the same game exactly, but it's close enough!)
I also think I remember the game in question. No idea what it is though!!!
Jikes no one can have good memories about this game, and wanting to play it again :)
However, I don't think his description sounds like a Rally X rip-off, but if it is, it could also be Road Racers from Artic.

Is it the one?
Yeah, Maze Death Race ,really, not the best game for speccy. :)
...but there can be it that game which searches carz?
Yes, but I have the feeling the previous poster is right about War Cars. Sounds more like it :)
