edited December 2005 in Games
Hello. I have one doubts. Somebody knows a game, which I do not remember the name, but it had as deep scene of known edificios, as the tower Eiffel, the Pyrenees too... and the objectiv of the game was make scaled. Somebody remembers the name of this game?

Umm ... make scaled. I don't understand that. The only games I know of offhand that feature famous landmarks are Bomb Jack and Short's Fuse.

Is it either of them?

Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

thanks guys for the help.
None of the games here mentioned, is what do I find. I remember myself that in the game, the man that we controlled, to be always of back for the screen and we had to move or the left hand or the right or the left foot and vice versa, a wrong movement the man whitewashes.
Someone remembers?

erhm... might be wrong, but I?m convinced Emilio wanted to say: the goal is tokeep balanced your climber!
In some laguages the expressions for the balance and scales are the same...

"make scaled" is probably referring to the act of "scaling" a mountain or large edifice - ie, climbing up it to the top.

hm, sounds ok too.
never knew it could have also such a meaning.
just looked into the dictionary - found 94 meanings of word SCALE - one of them is what you say :)
(and similar ones are : the Stairs/Staircase/Ladder)
on the other hand - the expression SCALING wasn?t explained in my dictionary as climbing ... there are only 5 meanings, the other terms are composite as: scaling position, scaling factor, sc. hammer... a.s.o.
thanks for the new word ;)

Are you absolutely sure that it's not Auf Wiedersehen Monty? Please look at this map just to make sure:

I'd have said it's almost certainly mountain climbing, and I've seen the game. The main sprite was quite big, iirc.

This:
we had to move or the left hand or the right or the left foot and vice versa, a wrong movement the man whitewashes.

Reminds me of the controls - you move a hand, or a foot each move, like you do when climbing a real mountain. Can't for the life of me remember what the game is called, or even if it's actually a speccy game!

My memories of it seem to have rather more colours than the speccy was capable of :)

Could be Jump but I think it's more of a dedicated mountain climbing simulator than that.

Or how about this one? It's rock climbing, it's moving one hand/foot at a time, it's a tad weird.

If it's neither of these, then you're going to have to describe the screens. Colourful? How big was the main sprite? where on the screen was he? what did the backgrounds look like?

Etc, etc.
