Sir Clive Sighting

Whilst flicking through the channels earlier, trying to find something decent on telly, I came across Late Night Poker on Home and Leisure. I spotted Ross Boatman of London's Burning fame at the table, but who was the shady guy sitting opposite in the baseball cap?
None other than Sir Clive Sinclair!!!

Incidently he makes a better computer inventor than poker player!

LOL k, maybe I should post details of up 'n' coming MENSA meetings so u guyz can grab yer flasks, cagoules and sleeping bags and scamper on down with yer Instamatics :)

The thing I like about Sir Clive is that he does make himself available and I could go to the phone right now and give him a buzz... not that I ever would of course, you only meet God when u die, right? and I ain't ready to go yet!!!

Hey k, your post has given me an idea...

How's about we compile a list of questions along the lines of 'The question I'd most like to ask Sir Clive is...'

We knock 'em altogether, I bang 'em in the post in the form of a questionnaire and await with baited breath to see if we get a response :D

    Yeserooness! Any1 up for it?

I saw those poker shows on Channel 4, that's how I learnt to play Texas Hold 'em.

Very good at it I became too! I used to play in online casinos (but never for real) on the free tables.

The highlight for me came when everyone was messaging me around the table, complaining that I was ruining the game, and I couldn't play, and I should leave, a few hands later I had won all of their play money :D

    Question 1.

In your opinion what would have been the next logical step for the Spectrum's Development?

    2. Did you ever think the Spectrum would go on to spawn a virtual community? Do you think this is madness or does it give you a high?

    3. Any plans to develop a new computer in the near future? If so, can we have Spectrum compatibility? ;) :) :)

Hmm... these questions have been asked and answered before.

    How about:

    4) What is your favourite type of cheesecake?

    5) How long is a piece of string?

    6) Chicken or egg?

    7) Monkey.

    Surely 6) Chuckie or Egg?

To which the answer is that Chuckie Egg knocks the spots oeuf that pipsqueak egg Dizzy every time.

I read in an interview with Sir Clive that he was in the process of designing a RISC-based palmtop computer with Linux built-in. That was about 2 or more years ago, and I heven't heard anything since. What happened to that project?

    Necros!
