What r your best code masters games. Mine are the simulator games grand prix, jet ski in particular and pro ski simulator. And of course the dizzy series.
Actually, I'll give a nod to Rockstar Ate My Hamster as well since it was a pretty good fun (although it's not aged so well) and it was good, at that time, to see a computer game with some adult humour.
ATV Sim ranks highly for me though. Rockstar was pretty decent as well.
One game of theirs that I really liked but I suspect it might be gash was Advanced Pinball Simulator. It's rough as anything but actually quite good fun.

I agree - it was a lot of fun. It had a plot and everything, which was a bit unusual. I never managed to destroy the wizard though, so I dunno whether the game stops when you 'win' or just keeps going.
As for other Codies games I enjoyed - the first 3 Dizzy games (they really started to lose their way after that), Grand Prix Sim 2 (markedly superior to 1) and KGB Superspy (a very under-rated game in my opinion). Oh, and Kwik Snax - kind of bland to play IMO, but one of the most well presented budget games ever.
But yeah, they released a lot of dross. (Twin Turbo V8, ugh!)
Codemasters , in my oppinion, one of the best publishers on speccy. My favourite games:
-Stryker In Crypts Of Trogan - excellent colourfull arcade adventure.
-Kwik Snax (128k) - music is excellent.
-Dizzy 1-7 - the best quest games ever ;)
-Grell & Falla
-Ninja Massacre - very good Gauntlet-clone.
I always liked Super Stuntman, especially the bit where you turbo boosted over the Grand Canyon. "Absolutely excellent!!", as Richard Darling liked to say.
The Dizzy series (especially Fantasy World Dizzy), Jet Bike Simulator, Mig-29 Soviet Fighter and BMX Simulator were favourites of mine. I haven't played most of them in years though, so I think I will do that tonight. :)
Always found SRH difficult to finish, but it's always enjoyable.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

Yeah advanced pinball simulator. This game is the hardest game to complete of any game on any platform. Even with a poke for infinite balls it took me forever. There is also a light gun version of the game. I would pay good money to see some one complete that.

Best? Oh god... Codemasters. (An oxymoron I believe) They were cheap games but not cheap enough to buy if you needed a spare cassette case. (The only element of the package with any possible use or value.) ;)
I'll agree with Rockstar Ate My Hamster, its an amusing albeit slightly broken game. Worth playing for the satire on the tabloid journalism and celebrity of its time. I've often been tempted to try my hand at a port of the game in Flash.
I gave up on the 'city' level (the black one) which is probably about as far as I got when I originally owned the game as it seems to be ridiculously hard.
i didn`t like any of them. The only saving grace most of them had was a cool David Whittaker soundtrack...and even they tended to sound the same over time.
Ninja Massacre - me and my brother used to love playing this game. Superb Gauntlet clone.
Super Stuntman - another one me and my brother loved, was a lot of fun.
The Dizzy adventure games - Magicland/Fantasyland being my faves
Still a bit annoyed by the fact that even though I rarely completed games I got to the end of one of the Dizzy games (think it was Magicland) and had collected all but one of the stars (or was it coins?) but couldn't find the last one anywhere :(
I should play it on an emulator to see if I can complete it nowadays.

Captain Dynamo
The Amazing Adventures of Robin Hood

bloody hell... its awful
terrible handling, terrible level designs, awful tacked-on shooting element.
I gave up on the 'city' level (the black one) which is probably about as far as I got when I originally owned the game as it seems to be ridiculously hard.
and oh go on then, the first couple of dizzy games :p
1. Rock Star
2. Steg
3. Sergeant Seymour (though I wan't keen on the Seymour arcade adventures).
Tilt is also good - different from the usual sideways-scrolling BEU or arcade aventure ...
Super Stuntman - another one me and my brother loved, was a lot of fun.

They also did a football manager game that was very slick, made all the others look very dull by comparison. What the hell was it called!
ATV Sim was good too, not as good as KickStart 2 (one of Crashes most underrated games) but still a great laugh with 2 players.
