hi there,
i would have felt a bit guilty just jumping in on other peoples threads... so i thought i'd put this brief post up just to say hello!
i'm a long time user of WoS but i had never thought to join the community... i was prompted to join by Death (that just sounds wierd!) when i asked some stupid speccy hacking questions.
i was practcally born crawling on a zx spectrum, but i'm a big amiga keen-o as well... (please dont hold that against me!)
i'm surprised my nick' wasnt already taken!

We don't mind stupid hacking questions round here, in fact we look forward to 'em.
And don't apologise for being an Amiga fan, there's a few of us here who appreciate the genius of the Amiga. I and and a few others consider the Amiga to be the 16 bit version of the Spectrum.

yep! although commodore did produce the C64 and as petty it sounds i do hate that machine, the Amiga was glorious.
interesting thoughts re: amiga. i was never a c64 fan either (odd that? ;) )
Mr Fruity does indeed seem to bare a striking resemblance... and yes - i have bumped into some Spiders of late!
i'll have hunt for the most appropriate place to post my stupid-hacking-question (yes it involves Horace too!)
