Help with a tune...

For years I've had this tune on an audio tape. I've always kinda liked it, but I have never known what it's called, or who it's by.

I'd like to get a good version of it, so if anyone here knows what it is, please tell me!!!

This is a transfer from the tape - I've cleaned it up pretty well, but there are parts that drop out or are ruined by the age of the tape.

    I'm sure I've heard that song years ago. It sounds vaguely like Bronski Beat.

    might be an erasure tune
