I agree with others - much better than the previous. The childish attempt at racist "humour" needs to go though.
Also, ADJB made a very good point about denied games: it needs to be changed to something like "no information about how to obtain unlawful copies of denied games".

that's top class humour that is! Oh well, I suppose I can remove it.
As for the other comments (and the spelling mistakes) I will wait until Martijn has approved the new guidlines and update them.
CornishDavey has actually said this
but I don't think he stuck to it.
So now even I don't trust or believe him. (Though I am still anti-aspart... Oh wait I said I wouldn't mention that again)
Thats an interesting comment, unless I've missed the news recently then as far as I know Iran has not been hit/invaded/cruised and therefore Cornishdavey will never darken the WOS door again.
I agree partly with aowen on that. I'm no fan of conspiracy, religious or political theories for the simple fact that they are redundant, cyclic and rather boring. I've yet to hear any new original insightful comments on such topics that could affect the opinion of anyone reading them, which also ties in with the fact that almost everyone has already made up their mind on these topics and the debate is often a meaningless exchange of accusations and counter-examples.
However, I'm not against non-speccy discussions - some of them are quite interesting and amusing.
I'll wait until he corrects it and then tell him about the second occurrence in bold. :-)
Is it too late to say 'no libel or defamation of the dead'. That one is sneaky as the victims, or their descendents, are unlikely to read WOS but will read Usenet.
It's nice to have some tongue in cheek humour in the guidelines, but this is a joke only the British (and the occasional Dutchman perhaps) will understand. I know the majority of the WOS public is British, but I can imagine that one of our fellow Specchums from France might not really get it (the tosser!). :)
Besides that being French is not being a different race, just a different nationality.. therefore not racism. You can have Black, white, asian frenchman too!
Soooo...the french are still open for hunting then along with any other nationality I take it?

We do a fair few french jokes here as theres no french WOS users active but i'm shocked at how people hold off on the german jokes just because we have a fair few german WOSers here !

(Don't mention the war, I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it - Basil Fawlty)
