IRC #speccy trouble :(

can fogarty or karingal or somebody who goes into #speccy get some help, i seem to be banned from #speccy lol

everytime i join a server i get

(18:34:09) ?? Server: Got Ident response

i cant remember being norty?????????

    I tried, Mel, I really did, but cos of the, er, "quirkiness" of astrolink's new software, and the fact that not even the network ops can work it, you're still banned :p

    Are you sure this isn't just a fiendish ploy to *gasp* actually CREATE SOME TRAFFIC ON #general?

    yeah must be astrolinks super duper shiney new software thats randomly banning people as darkhalfs banned for the second time in a week :P

    Where is the irc #speccy channel. I type in /join #speccy on mIRC and get an empty room with just me in it :-( or is that because I'm a lamer Commodore fan?

    I got K-Lined a couple of times too on the server where #zx is :P
    Try switching the server locations...
    or is the problem solved? :)

    its the full astrolink network

    IM STILL FUGGIN BANNED :(

    looks like theyll just have to live without me another night :P

    Way back in the mists of time when I first tried IRC (Nov 5, 2001 according to the #speccy logs), I made the same mistake.

    IRC != Usenet; it matters which network you're on...
