Rumours about me on Doctor Who Restoration Team Board
It has been brought to my attention that someone made a post on the board reminding the world that in 1998, I claimed that Amy's dad held missing episodes of Doctor Who.
I would like to express the fact that while these claims were made, I was NOT guilty of starting them. At the time, I let my best friend use my computer for work while I was suffering from a breakdown. He took advantage of it and posted many hoax e-mails and posts to all sorts of places. Not only did he claim that Amy's dad held missing episodes, he claimed that all Amy's family died in a house fire, which was not true. He also claimed to one person that Amy died in November 98, also not true and claimed Emma died on New Years Day 1999, also not true. That lot was heart breaking for me when I found out and when it did, it destroyed all creditability I had in the Doctor Who community.
The person also claimed to have found a copy of Daffy Duck for the Commodore 64 which is like golddust and is saught after as the entry on the GTW64 site proves. I was able to clear my name in this instance as my knowledge of some of those games has proved useful for the site and the people behind it know that while I am on the lookout for these games, I would not say anything unless I had it in my pocession.
Some people may remind me I made a post about Thunderjaws and might jump to conclusions - it was a post asking if Thunderjaws had been found in full because my step-brother MIGHT have it in his old Speccy collection - sadly he didn't.
Thank you for your time.
