probs with TZX

Hi,

just downloaded a game called Special Agent in TZX format. I'm using the Fuse emulator on a mac, and when I open the file it won't load the game properly.

Is there some special way to use TZX as I've had a lot of problems with it, I can generally only get TAP to work???

I really want to play this game as I remember enjoying it as a kid!!! Please help! :-?

    When reporting this sort of thing, it's usually a good idea to describe the exact steps you're taking, and what it *does* do in response, instead of just saying "it doesn't do X properly"...

    Generally speaking TAP and TZX are treated the same, except that TZX is a more flexible format and is therefore more likely to contain fancy loaders that Fuse can't do its immediate-loading magic on. You want to go to Options -> General, turn off 'Use tape traps', start loading in the normal way (LOAD "" or choosing Tape Loader from the menu), then Media -> Tape -> Play.
