Quicky tech problem. reassinging mouse buttons

edited August 2006 in Chit chat
my wheeless mouse is dying, not a fan of my laptop's touch pad,

left click won't click no more on my main mouse (the wheeles one),can't get out to buy a replacement mouse until Thursday.

it's really, very annoying. As I right click a lot less than I do left, is there a way, with Windows control panel doo-dah, that I could re-assign the right click function to take the place of the left one?

Bring up the Mouse Properties from Control panel and change the button configuration to Left-Handed. Should do the job.

one thing you could do is swap the buttons over, they are quite easy to desolder and flip round
