SuperHero... Bernie Drummond but not Jon Ritman...
In looking up and verifying a few last minute changes to the book, I came across this game, SuperHero, with graphics by Bernie Drummond.
This piqued my interest, because it is, as far as I know, the only game that Bernie worked on without his long time collaborator, Jon Ritman.
Now, I know from personal experience that Bernie and Jon sort of lost contact from the time after Monster Max right up until 1997/1998 when he was brought on board Jon's new company, Cranberry Source...
Other than that, I know very little about it, other than the concept of a non-Ritman game involving Bernie Drummond is very interesting - (in fact, almost worthy of a book page...)
I was wondering whether anyone (especially the industry peeps who frequent these forums) may know anything interesting about the circumstances that led up to the release of this game...
There is very little on the web that I could find, and I'd like to know more... :)
I've found that Paul Machacek works (still?) for Rare and I could probably tap Leigh Loveday for some more info... but I'll start here at first...
Anybody?

Don't hold your breath, it got a score of 53% I think.
Very much so, according to Ritman's website the game itself got brilliant reviews, 90% scores across the board. But for some inexplicable reason the publishers decided to wait a year before releasing it, by which time everyone had forgotten about the reviews.
