OT: (apologises) i'd just like to say to fogartylee thanks a flipping bundle for posting the gaystage thread link over that jag' site.... i've had the bugger open all day and keep nipping back to read a few posts. i'm still only approaching halfway through it.

still - i had to settle my curiousity after seeing so many many many mentions of the incident in pretty much every thread ever here on WOS. :)

p.s. dunny's finders keepers map is still hosted there and it still has his name on it.... after all this time you'd have thought it's been taken down by now - oh wait - maybe you wouldnt.

back on-topic; Mr.Kizza's antics (and this and the other 17 threads) are even starting to get a mention and the odd giggle over on some amiga forums. if the guy wanted some attention he's certainly got it.... though i'm sure its not quite what he had in mind when making his original claims-to-fame!

"This is uncanny. You drop in out of nowhere like Elite Viper ships and descend on Kizza like there?s no tomorrow."

Is it just me, or has the JSII thread gone?

To be honest, judging by the members posts on there they are either burying their heads in the sand, or just don't care.

All of that amounts up (in my mind) to a forum that isn't worth visiting. If a site and it's members can stand by a moderator with those morals (remember it was that moderator that STARTED the thread!), then they are basically saying they have the same morals.

I'd also like to point out that I aproached Jay to sort out any problems that may have occured due to WoS members. I received no reply and can therefore only assume that the abuse that was meant to have occured didn't happen.

Jay *IS* looking into things as we speak.
Whether or not JSII is a place worth a visit, I?ll leave up to the individual.

I can't believe the guy lied like that, they obviously don't make programmers like they used. Why I remember writing Lords Of Midnight on a Friday afternoon, going out on a Friday night, getting utterly bladdered until Sunday morning, getting up around 11am having me Sunday dinner and then writing Starion.
    Now thats coding...

I wrote some games like that, but I don't think the results were nearly as good. ;)

    Relax Lee... :)
I suspect it's just been moved to the Flame Wars section where you need to have had 10 posts to be able to view it..
And like I said to you on PM.. I dont think that Kizza's claiming any abusive PM's on the JSII forum.. just says hes had some on the AA one.
Mind you ..looking at the quotes he's made of them.. are they actually abusive at all ? The " Doctor Dickwad" one is a bit unnecessary , but the other two are just someone laughing at him , and hardly insulting (or surprising ) in my book.

If they thread HAS been moved to the flame section.. I'll start another off topic thread so people can get their post count up to 10. :)

You thief! I wrote that post, not you. I wrote it in 1982 when I was four. I mean twenty. And I wrote it in Russian (as you can see, the above post is in Russian, with no English in it at all).

And if you don't believe me, just check the links that I haven't posted.

    And you're all trolls.

P.S. I invented the word "troll", you know. Hans Christian Anderson stole the word off me. The troll.

Yep it's now been moved all of a sudden. Even some of them were wondering why.. so its not a case of hiding anything , and the guys over there actually seem a pretty good bunch tbh.
Lets not paint their whole forum with the wrong colour paint over this guys. :)

No developments and a No-show from Kizza so far. In fact it's turned into a light hearted chat for now :D

Right, that's it. I'm off to a different forum now, where I'm going to badmouth you all, 'cos I'm brave like that.

By the way, I'd just like to thank the 308,405,200,545,221,910 people who sent me private mails supporting me, and I'd also like to express my disgust at the people who sent me threatening or rude letters. Those WOS people are just trolls. I see now why my old mate Gamestage doesn't like you either!

Ok, you trolls shut up now, or I'll call Kizza, Gremlina and his gayfriend Gaystage and will all three of them start crying. And you'll have to deal with it. :D

If you don't see what Kizza writes in white ink on white paper, it's your fault.
He's got proof. He just forgot where it is (though judging by the photo posted, he might just have eaten it).

Ok.. well the update is this. Despite quite a few requests on JSII by its members for our friend to shed a bit more light on the subject , and despite his logging on to the AA forums yesterday evening , he failed to show up. In my opinion they are highly dubious of his explainations so far, after many of them took the time to read up on the issue themselves. I guess we should be happy with that and couldnt ask for more.
So to hopefully put a end to the problem on their site I posted this...

    QUOTE
"seems that things have already moved on."

More like come to a sudden stop. I will read Kizzas "no-show" here (he logged into AA yesterday evening) as a "no comment" on the issue which is probably the smartest move he's made to be honest. If he keeps it that way , or has something relevant and concrete to say (or explain) on the issue other than "trolls" , then that will be enough Im sure to stop this breaking out again on this forum.

Thanks to those who took the time to at least look into this with an open mind , and to Palmer who has represented your forum in a very favorable fashion on our site. Your "Elite police viper" line is now firmly planted in the WOS "greatest quotes" annals of history !

    CASE (i hope) CLOSED.....

So the ball is firmly in his court now. He can choose to continue with the quality of responses he's issued so far , or he can keep his fingers on his lips , and slowly over time rebuild some credibilty. Time will tell .

Hopefully ol Mr K has learnt a lesson in this.
    1) Dont claim credit for others work
    2) If you do , dont tell people who doubt your claims to "do some research"
    3) Dont assume later that your conduct isn't being watched and won't be commented on.
    4) Dont fuck with WOS

    :)

Shouldn't that be Elite Police Vipers?

In fact, may i suggest that the next rank after Elite on WoSF should be Elite Police Viper? :D

Heh .. I eat Elite police vipers for breakfast... as my RZX clearly shows..

They seemed to have posed more of a problem for Keiron though. :D

Take look at those Atari pictures Kizza did,

    http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=92184&hl=

If they were done all that time ago why does the fruit machine have pictures of the Nokia NGage Gamming phone in them. I beleive this was not released until 2002-2003.

    Odd??

That, I believe, is the Atari Lynx, which was released in or around 1989.
You?re grasping, my friend. I?d let it go for now.

    Odd??

    Andrew.

Actually, it looks more like an Atari Lynx to me which was roughly contemporary with the ST.

Seeing as writing a fruit machine game in HiSoft BASIC isn't exactly that taxing a task, I'd be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on it.
