Rock Star Ate My Hamster
I loved that game, its only problem was that you had to load in each singer/musician from tape.
I know it has been denied distribution, but I have the original tape. Does that mean I am lawfully allowed to download a version for my emulator??
Is it difficult to convert the games that need level loading such as Gauntlet and Road Runner for emulator, or is overcoming this a simple process for the knowledgeable.
Andrew.

I'm not sure of the legality of downloading it, even if you do have it on tape (as I do somewhere).
Regarding conversion... it shouldn't be too tricky in theory. I wrote a character editor a looooong time ago (complete with a graphics editor in BASIC). I don't recall there being much hassle to load the character info from tape, so I expect that at most the files were headerless.
In theory a game like that would work well from something like a DivIDE or MB02, which "emulates" tape.
As for loving the game... I'd already noticed your avatar, mozza :p
Anybody actually complete this beast????
If I get time this weekend I may give it another spin.
