MDR File format

For reading (and writing) MDR-files into my ZX-PC Interface I need the layout of a MDR-file. Googling with MDR FILEFORMAT etc.. doesn't seem to help, nor searching here in WoS. Link over Z80-format, SNA-format, TAP-format are easily found, but where is the data about MDR-files??

I've been playing around with it some time already.

And I think that within 10 minutes someone comes up with the right GOOGLE-command to give me a link (or just the link).

google:"zx spectrum file format" finds it.

I keep an archive of esoteric file formats no longer listed in the FAQs at mdfs.net/Docs/Comp/Spectrum
