VGA Box

If I buy a VGA Box from somewhere like PC World or Curry's Digital (Or eBay if lucky), will I be able to connect my Spectrum +2A to a monitor via the RGB / PERITEL socket on the +2A and the port on the Box?

    Why dont you just either make up a scart lead or buy one from ebay. It would cost you a lot less. Failing that buy an old CUB MicroVitec monitor(the ones used on old BBC's) from ebay. They normally go for around a tenner.

    You'll find most VGA boxes available turn the monitor signal from the PC into Scart/ s-video or plain old rgb.
