RIP Paul Hunter - Terrible news...

edited October 2006 in Chit chat
Just returned to work from a long weekend away - been to a Wedding in London. Just read about Paul Hunter's death. Devastating news.

27 years old - Talented, handsome, rich, famous - Leaving a beautiful wife and young kids.

Such a shock as everyone in the game of snooker expected him to come through it. Just shows that it can happen to anyone at anytime.

RIP Paul - Very sad loss. Our thoughts are with your family.

Very sad news. Just goes to show how quickly tragedy can strike, just when life seems to be going so well.

    RIP Paul.

Not a huge fan of snooker but saw him in the world championships a few times, hoping he was going to beat this, very sad, only 27

He was very good at snooker - I thought he was excellent and I hoped he would beat it aswell. It's even more sad because his daughter isn't even 1 year old yet..

    Indeed, most sad.

When he first came on the snooker scene I thought he was a little jumped up, but I soon realised he wasn't at all. He seemed like a nice fella.

I was quite upset to see the news.

    yeah very sad news indeed.
however its only partly a shock as we all knew he had cancer, however i thought he was getting over it.
it also shows how fate can deal you things

he had the looks, the family, the fame and the money
sadly fate didnt deal him health or luck

Damn , he was a great player. Always looked to me like he was playing pool rather than snooker , the speed he would bang them in and move around the table. Real shame :(
