which domain to register?

edited November 2006 in Chit chat
I'm about to register a domain under my country's top domain. almost all of the keywords are available to buy and I'm a bit indecisive person.

which one is better AND more fitted to our beloved spectrum machines?

www.spectrum.gen
www.zxspectrum.gen
www.sinclair.gen
www.zx.gen
www.zxs.gen
www.sinclairspectrum.gen
www.sinclairzxspectrum.gen

or others?

Are you only gonna do spectrum stuff or do you want to include ZX81/QL stuff too? World of Spectrum sounds pretty cool, but alas, tis gone :D

I'm not sure what country you're in, but I'm pretty sure .gen isn't your country's TLD... national domains are always 2 letters (although to be fair there have been some bizarre proposals for things that aren't strictly national domains, such as .sco for Scotland) and I can't see any reference to .gen on the IANA website or on Wikipedia.

If someone's really selling .gen domains, they may be trying to rip you off - there are companies around that sell 'fake' domains that only work if you install their browser plugin or somehow persuade your ISP to use their hacked-up DNS server.

I've seen .gen.in domains for India, but there is no .gen domain.

    But I can't find any information about a gen-domain.

It was just a parody of those people who still read web addresses out on the radio and t.v in full
