That Game Shop
I thought I'd mention "That Game Shop" in Newcastle, it was literally a game shop called "That Game Shop". It had no signs outside apart from one saying games, and a one saying exchange. This shop was a veritable Goldmine of retro stuff, I mean literally a goldmine that had a little something for everyone. It had been randomly open every now and then, but just when the fella was properly getting himself established as a good game store some scumbag robbed him.
As far as I know the poor fucker is gonna fold his store now cos' the insurance won't pay up.
The robbers broke into the flat above the shop pulled the floorboards up and dropped into the shop through the ceiling, you gotta give the scums marks for originality. But still this was a store that had tabletop Scramble machines, vectrexs, and gooooord knows what, I was gonna sell him a shit load of C64 games I got given, cos I was never gonna use em'. I'd never have a Commode in my house. But either way It's a shame because this could have been the first honest and decent retro minded game shop in the north east.
I apologise if the story has already made it on here since it made it into several newspapers, but I've been out of the loop for about 6 months and only posting in games threads.
If anyone knows how th catch the robbing skank twats that robbed "That game store" bash them instead of phoning the cops.

But it's a pity a retro store is closing. Fareham had a shop called Game Exchange which sold Master System, Megadrive, NES and SNES games (in addition to the modern formats) and that sadly closed down..
As for robbing ASDA thats scrapping the barrell a bit, but then I actually saw someone robbing the poundland store at the Metro Centre. Now that really is low down
The police were called in and they were arrested and bailed to appear at the police station in Fareham this weekend. The friend has been in trouble for carrying a conceled weapon and GBA in the past and he's 14 (same with my cousin)
He got hell from my mother and has been grounded until further notice. He would have got hell from Amy if it wasn't for the fact she was out of hospital a day before for dangerously high blood pressure which combined with being pregnant isn't a good thing.
By coincidence, there is a Lidi's 30 seconds away from Asda.
Trouble for carrying a concealed GBA? Are the rozzers concerned he'll force someone to play it in poor light conditions and give them a nasty case of eyestrain or something?
They had even taken a razor.. (why they would need that is a question mum has been asking since last week) but this had revealled a few things mum didn't know about the little sod.
