The terms and conditions are very tipical including the redemption value of 0.00001p (a leagal thing).
Theshers - Wine Rack- Bottums Up- Haddows and the Local are all members of the Thresher Group.
The web site it comes from seems genuine enough and explains that Threshers are not promoting this voucher publicly. This does not look like a copy or a scan either..
Maybee your title should have been Cheap Wine.... but then I suppose 40% is comming free... so it counts as free wine...
Thanks Mile.... The wife loves a bottle of red...
im cynical about things that are too good to be true. :)
you should try it out anyway, report back if you get done for attempted fraud :p
So far I've had half a bottle's worth and a good kicking.
i tend to jsut drink vinager, tastes the same to me.
Vinegar, pah, whats wrong with meths or turpentine subsitute or do you live in a posh part of town.
It could well be real, its quite well reported on the net.

By releasing this covertly, it cost them a lot less than using an Ad agency.
I for one will be researching where my local Thresher is, and sampling their wares.

Should have been this page
Someone could also get out a Speccy and load up a copy of Stonkers to really round the night off.
Sounds like a plan hey?!

I think the moral here is, if you're planning a promotion "for suppliers and their friends", make sure that one of your suppliers isn't one of the country's most celebrated and well-connected bloggers...
like someone said it's cheaper than using an ad agency. all these people rushing off to buy discounted wine, and all the news and papers reporting it, they'll be raking it in now, and they get loads of E-mail adresses to spam :-)

I don't like homemade wine as much as beer, I make my own beer quite a bit.
6%, and drinkable, is the strongest i've managed.
I've made 10% and foul, worse than a can of cheap imitation special brew, left to go flat with a drowned wasp in it.
In the bad old days of youth filled rebellness, we used to make magic mushroom beer. 500 shrooms, per 20 pints in the fermentation barrel:D and we sold it for a ?1 a bottle, plus 10pence deposit on the recycled Grolsch bottle. (This was 16 years ago, I can't get prosecuted now can I?)
As for this voucher thing, the cynic in me thinks perhaps it was a deliberate viral ad campaign.
Magic mushrooms... ahh...that brings back some rather erm....interesting memories of college days. And of an imaginary cat that followed me wherever I went.
