Flash

no, not the superguy.

ive finally gotten around to do some animations in flash. (i did a stick man last night, woo hoo)

does anyone else use flash. if so do you know any killer tips, or a site with tutorials dealing with specific things, eg when i did some star wars special effects on a dvd i found a load of info about rotoscoping a lightsabre.

not sure what i want to do on it though. ;)

Use Flash a fair bit, dont do tons of animations on it, i used to do the training modules on www.lynda.com which was very good.

http://www.flashkit.com/ is one of the best free ones, tons of tips/tutorials etc and a good forum

Yep, we're doing a kiddies-style Flash cartoon called, 'Alleybang (Shhh!) and Tullycat' It's quite basic, but cute nonetheless.

no not the star wars kid. would send you the footage of my mate doing the lightsabre, but dont want him turning into the star wars kid!!

well, i expected to knock a couple of cartoons out over the weekend, and one or two games aswell.

-all i managed was to make a red blob come our of a blue blob when you pressed Ctrl - not exactly gears of war.
