Christmas Plans

edited December 2006 in Chit chat
Ok lads & ladies. This is my final thread / message of 2006. Was hoping to get 500 posts in before the end of the year... but never mind.

Just packing up in work, and then off on the piss in my hometown with my mates. Tomorrow I'm off to Devon to stay with my girlfriends family for xmas, and then back to Cardiff to see in the new year.

What plans do you lot have ? I'm actually looking forward to a peaceful break this year. Had a lot of stuff happening over the last few months eg/ moving house etc.

Will try and keep an eye on WOS from Devon - but I'm not sure that they have the internet as I'm staying in a cottage out in the middle of nowhere...

Until 2007 - Have a wonderful and safe christmas. I hope you all get the tacky, cheap, rubbish presents that we all normally get. Theres little chance of me getting anything half decent - but that's not what its all about.

Take it easy. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all !

Left the office an hour early and had a swim. Then we went out to watch Dhoom 2 at the cinema. It's got Aishwarya Rai playing a gangster's moll, so it made for good viewing. The other leading actress Bipasha Basu didn't seem to do much, except look good in a bikini. So she was pretty good too. After that we went out for a meal in one of the local restaurants. Tomorrow we're off to Hyderabad on the train to spend Christmas with the in-laws.

Speaking of movies, our office organised a "team building excercise" (TBE) by taking us out for a movie. We watched "Happy Feet", ate some samosas, drank some aerated beverage and generally had a good time. I think we need more such TBE's - we get to see some nice wimmen that way! Sad, but true!

Gone to our home in Venice with the wife and kids to spend the holidays there. Will have to suffer not only the father & mother-in-law but six sister-in-laws plus our six nieces and great niece..

Luckly, I can access my main BT Internet e-mail via Yahoo! Mail so I'm not out of touch, we have access to an ISP and I have my laptop with me so I can play Speccy emulators and work on the map book..

We're round at my sister's on xmas eve. My mum will also be there. Looking forward to it, there'll be an enormous dinner.

Xmas day will be a quiet one with the three of us at home. Then boxing day, another big family get together at my dad's.

At other times I'll be doing sod all and just relaxing watching telly, or playing Twilight Princess.

Hmmm - good point. Once it was like heading down to the big city to celebrate Christmas and sure Christmas day will be another occassion - but it would be good to get between Christmas and the New year.

I'm starting work within the new year which'll be good - however it'd be good to get away - particularly if it's gonna be cooler than usual.
