with their new year greeting...

they`ve got one of their V2 flying dildo`s destroying the good ol` spectrum :(

this is an outrage :lol:

    i know its a bit of a laugh and all that but seriously Commodore owners always were a bit bitter. That recent c64 vs Spec site was a total joke as well.

    2nd rate animation, it's probably the best they can do.

    Having said that , if that was on a C64 it would probably be hailed as the best graphics ever seen on a C64...

    Then I better no say I visit the site as much as I visit WOS (yes, I can hear the calls of traitor). I thought the animation was childish.

    I like the lemon64 / lemonamiga websites.

    Its great being a fan of the spectrum and the C64. It makes me feel dirty. It's kinda like having two birds on the go at the same time...

    The chit chat section on the lemon sites are pretty poor though. WOS is much more entertaining.

    Oh, and the animation was shite.

    It's just a joke, of course, so fair enough.

    Although I do think that NickH doesn't have too much to worry about in the quality or imagination stakes...



    And of course, the only reason that WOS never had a video of the Speccy destroying the C64 was because we Spectrum fans are far more mature than the childish Commodore fans.

    You've got to watch these shifty Commodore 64 types. There's a large group of them in an abandoned warehouse near to where I live plotting to take over the world.

    I have a plan to stop them, but may need some help. Does anybody fancy clambering onto the roof to drop bubble gum and energy-giving sweets through the skylights...?

    After seeing one of the worst animations in the world i'm embarassed for lemon64 they put that up on their front page ! They have a very good site but that animations terrible !

    It is a really bad animation, the comments in the thread that go with it are lame ( apart from a few that say "can't we all just get along" ) and they didn't even use a C64 to do it, which just shows really.

    If you do an animation back, make sure you use the Spectrum to do it, or better, the Sam Coupe :D

    it's all a bit of fun.

    i remember seeing pictures people sent into CVG mag when the nintendo vs sega thing was big, they had pics of mario shitting in sonics mouth. now that was a bit excessive.

    I would love to see that.

    Anybody got a link? Please tell me there's a website somewhere that contains an complete repository of CVG mag and this pic you're talking about.

    Failing that, I might draw my own... :)
