Kool. I'll order in the next couple hours. Look's great by the way. Is tirnanog or Dun Darach included? Not that it matters, but it would be good if they were.

Tir Na Nog, yes... Not Dun Darach... (not enough space)

    Hi,

First of all, I would like to congratulate Andrew Rollings for the creation of this wonderful book.

I have been following the creative process for this book for many months now, and I have finally received my copy.

I have not yet had the opportunity to read it all, but from what I have read, it is a magnificent book for all spectrum fans, and retrogamers in general.

I would also like to inform you that today the Classic Gaming section of PTGamers (www.ptgamers.com), the leading Portuguese Gaming website has posted news about Andrew's work.

You can take a look at it, here.

For those of you that do not speak Portuguese, you can try the Google translation (even if it is a really bad one).

    Cheers!

Thanks for the welcome... I have been visiting World of Spectrum for many years, but never felt the need to register. Until now :-)

Andrew's book has re-kindled my love for this great machine, and I really felt it was about time I'd register in this great comunity.

I will also grab the opportunity to say that the book is just great. I have read more than half of it, and each page is pure joy!

This is the kind of work that keeps the comunity alive.

    Thanks again Andrew!

Having had bouyant ebay sales of late, exchanging old Speccy software for Paypal money, it seemed only right and proper to convert some of this money back to Speccy goodness. So I've ordered the book, happy to see there are a few copies left.

Andrew, does the order's "item/product number" ('zx' followed by a number) relate in any way to the stock situation? Or is it a generic identifier for all copies of the book?

?7.50 for postage brought forth various Whizzer-and-Chips style cartoon noises from me ("Ooof! Ooyah!") but from earlier perusal of this thread I'd gathered it might be posted from the US, so it wasn't a total shock. I look forward to receiving the goods...

It's a generic identifier... and as for the postage, read the author diary on the website for more info :)
