Whats wrong with that ? If i'm selling an item on ebay i often look for similar products to copy/paste information about it.

Someones simply got the game info from WOS and copied and pasted it, whats wrong with that ? Not like theyre putting R@RE and trying to sell it for 20 quid etc

Well, it's supposed to be tongue in cheek really, but they've used infoseek and not given a credit. It's no big deal, I just thought a little cheeky is all.

The description included the game's Infoseek entry. I don't see any problem with that either.

Nothing wrong with a bit of copying and pasting in eBay descriptions, as long as a bit of credit is given to the original authors. I had a chap in Canada email me the other day wanting to use some of my description of a CD I was selling by The Accused in his own listing, which I thought was decent of him.

Course, I'd pilfered most of my description from various web sources and reviews .... :D

I agree, when I sell books modern enought to come with ISBN numbers, I just google them. Fair use, i'd say too.
