The Best Bulldog Title

edited February 2007 in Games
Since every frigger is posting polls I thought I'd post one, Mastertronic, Firebird, Codemasters, even (gimpy) Atlantis are too big for these polls. But the budget company I wanted to post anyway only has 12 games under it's belt. I have suspicions I can guess the most poplular titles will be Feud, Rigels Revenge and Scumball. I would vote for Scumball myself but I played Streaker just as much, if not more so that will be my choice.

Feud. Hurrah, an easy poll... Although Colony comes a close second.

Yep, it's got to be Feud. The rest just don't get a look in.

Out of all the games listed, Feud is the only one I (properly) played so it gets my vote too.

    Necros.

If memory serves, Bulldog was two brothers writing games in their bedroom. They're all pretty good really, but Feud really stands the test of time (multi-player remake anyone?)

Bulldog was basically just a rebranding of the old Mastertronic budget line. They published games from a number of developers such as Icon Design, Stephen Curtis, and Binary Design.

Binary Design (John and Ste Pickford) were the team behind Feud. They also did some other good games like Amaurote and Zub.

Colony wins this for me. Feud looks great and has some good ideas but the gameplay is pretty much non-existent.

All you do is trudge round the maze, occasionally running into the other guy who has no hope of killing you. The game's length is dependent on how many spells you decide to collect but in reality can be finished pretty quickly if you know where the few useful spells are.

I've never played any of these games before, but I've heard alot about Fued being one of the best games ever on the Speccy. I'll have to try some out before I vote.

Well, spend a very good time playing Colony, although many people seem to hate it, just because it's really fast paced strategy (and never ending bugs eating fences)

17 out of 25 Wossers said that their Speccies preferred Feud.
