It's a shame, but it's only a name now, never will be the force it once was. If only Sinclair had designed the Amiga! Mind you, it would have been the Amstrad Mig and have a built in tape deck :)

Well as far as I can see there are no custom parts to the commodore PC s you can build an identical machine for less. You should even be able to buy Vista Ultimate OEM as you would be buying a Mobo.

Probably. There's a lot of big name games in the Epyx back catalogue if nothing else.
Pics of new Commode machine here...

Specs look damn good (OTT for my needs tho :D), though I'm not sure about the case painted like that!
This would be the logo for the Amstrad Mig

I don't see the point.
Have a look at

Which has the extra bit of info about a single chip C64 being installed with 50 "classic" games. So its got a built in "emulator" of sorts.
ADJB
The quote from the page is:
The four systems all have a C64 emulator ready installed on their hard drives along with 50 "classic" games, the company said.
So okay, you may have the licence to play the 50 games. Whoopeee.
Mind you HomeBargains had the NTSC version of the C64 joystick thingy for £2.99 and the PAL version is about £14.99 from Amazon.
It has the only C64 game I was ever impressed with on it. Impossible Mission.
Certainly better value than an overpriced gaming PC with an emulator on the HDD :)
