Does anyone know the correct size of the screws used on the Rubber key Spectrum and Spectrum +2 outer casing?

There seem to be a few different types. The ones I've got here for a 48K machine are (in mm, measured with my Mitutoyo Digimatic calipers):

    11.35 overall length

    9.52 excluding head

    5.12 head diameter

    2.99 threaded section diameter

    0.99 thread pitch

    Cheese head, Pozidrive, self tapping.

There is a countersunk head srcrew used too: Don't have details of it but it's not a raised head, and it's a bit longer than the standard screw mentioned above.
    Oh bugger!<br>

    Thanks for the info.
Now I just need to find some (yes, maybe they will become collectable).

"Five Spectrum Screws, ?30. ZX Spectrum (still attached to screws) thrown in for free!!!"

No clue - I've been advised to use silicone grease very sparingly - does that count? :D

Ahh, that's where you are going wrong, DEATH - it's not what you use, it's where you rub it on!
    Are we diverging here? :???:
