Now I'm back home and on the beer again, so I'm gonna get to putting the final touches to my JSW game I was working on and post it up on the MM and JSW yahoo group in a while (gotta polish up a couple of the screens, change the scrolling message on the title screen, and playtest it to make sure you can actually finish it).
I've finished it to the point where it's pretty much the full map, and I've tweaked a few of the screens into states that I'm happy with. Now I just gotta playtest it. Hopefully I'll have time to do that before I go to bed otherwise I might overshoot another deadline.

I'd also like to say if you do download this game don't spread it about too much and don't upload it to the archive here just yet as I may tweak it a little more again in future. For instance I may (probably will) change the title screen in the very close future.

Well cheers ears, my first positive feedback for my first mini-game, (I usually try to make my Jet Set Willy mods into Epics :D.....:lol: ) you don't think I was too harsh hacking the lives down to 3 to start off with? I was wondering about that? I'm not gonna change it I just wondered if anyone thought it was ridiculous or summit?
Shameless plug: for a longer but maybe easier JSW experience try "Maria on Tour" or " The DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!!:Special Edition.....both by me :D
Didnt think it was ridiculous but when i saw only 3 lives i was a bit surprised ;) I'm a standard 'Jet Set Willy' skill and found it a bit tough but kept on going back to it to find new rooms etc
I did have a problem getting one of the items in 'the hall', the one on the top left, i stood on top of it but it still wouldnt let me collect it ?

You just gotta position the jump from the right pixel perfect (or as quirky features go pixel imperfect), I'm not really bothered about putting spoilers on QF's, as I think if you don't know about them they are ridiculous.
I'll admit I discovered a few of them by accident when I was younger but when I saw they were being exploited in JSW remakes I was kinda pissed off but at the same time intrigued by them. A lot of peeps don't like em' though, that's why I was kind of weary about posting it up on here anyway. Basically cos' this game has the most QF's in a game I've done I think.
I've already updated this game again (if anyone cares anymore :D), I've changed the colour of the sky in the "?" screen, and tidied the sprite library up, so that it only contains the sprites used in the game. I will probably add a few extra rooms, and I will definitely be changing or tidying the title screen (I may also try to add a loading screen if I have time). Anyway I'll post another link up once I've updated it (it won't be much different but anyone who wants it can have the final version).
