Yes, and me (will be up for a hardcopy). ZXF11 is fantastic.
I'm really hyped up about the DivIDE Plus stuff going down and there is some great content in your mag that I wasn't aware off (e.g. BBC BASIC for Z80). Nice to see that Andrew Rollings book got a slot.
A great read and just one mistake on Page 9. The BBC was correct in that the 16K machine could be upgraded with a 32K RAM Pack. Sinclair Research never made them but others, most notably Cheetah, did.
18,000 words and hardly any out of place. Whole-hearted congratulations. I'm a magazine editor/publisher and so feel qualified to say that publishing can be a tricky business. You've made it look effortless. Best issue yet. Looking forward to 12.
Just had a read through the magazine. Another fine issue Colin, esp. like the way you've nailed the Crash look. Reg the article on Spectrum Clones, I should point out that India too had its own clone - the db Spectrum +. Dodgy photos of the machine are up on WoS courtesy me. :)
Agreed. I enjoyed contributing to YS94 under the co-ordination of a YS enthusiast. But it's not something I could do all by myself, purely and simply because I was alwasy a CRASH kid, and that's the mag I know and love best.
When are you planning a hard copy run of ZXF11?
Where do we pre-order?
As I said earlier in this thread, the hard copy will be produced using www.lulu.com. I've already uploaded the high resolution PDF to lul and ordered a test copy; once this has been delivered and I'm satisfied the product is of good enough quality I'll post a link to the 'shop'. There will be no pre-orders, just the link to the shop.
My copy should be with me by next Monday, possibly Tuesday, so expect to see a link appearing around about then.
Are uplanning on having a part A and part B as downloads so we can print a A5 booklet ourselves ? i haven't read it yet i don't like reading books on a pC monitor :(

The new format for ZXF uses a page size that won't scale down to A5, so I wasn't planning on it, no :(
A stiffly worded email has been sent, but it's going to mean at least another week before I get a good proof copy to recommend.
On the plus side, the print quality is absolutely superb... better than I had dared to hope for. The only thing wrong with it is that the paper quality is far too thick and high quality for it to feel like a proper 80s mag!!

HAR HAR HAR!!!
That's priceless ... keep it for another 20 years and you'll have a L@@K R@R3 on your hands ... well, technically you already do ... except yours is the genuine article.

Skarpo :-)
Hadn't thought of it that way... thanks for the reframe :D
At last!! The print version of ZXF issue 11 is now available for £5 per copy (not including postage and packing). Received my copy today and it looks superb :) But don't take my word for it, check out some pics here:

I realise that you've been busy of late Colin, so you obviously missed my 32k ram-pack emulation campaign
There's been a campaign about it?
Right, that does it; my technical editor's fired. Looks like I'm just going to have to do the job from now on.
Hope you carry on and do ZXF12 for sure. Would love to see this as a small extra in Retro Gamer or something !
YS94 was good enough for me :)
Looking forward to Issue 12 then! Cheers!

When will the hi-res version be available?
Just as soon as I get my arse in gear and do it :) Martijn's already contacted me to let me know he's waiting for it. Only takes ten mins, but...

Ok, as you might have read from Martijn's 'What's new?' today, a high res download of ZXF11 is now available. Be warned... it's 34MB.
Just visit the ZXF site and click on 'downloads' to go to the page. The low res version is still available there too.

PM me and I'll e-mail them to you.
