I remember seeing a Commode game which had a guy sitting on a balloon and the (multi screen) level was made out of bricks ... iIrc then the music was classical but don't remember the name ... does anyone know the name of that game and if it exists on the Speccy???

    Skarpo

    PS Commode ... Boo! Hiss!

Sentinel, Gunship, Uridium, Commando (just for the music), Warhawk (also just for the music), Paradroid, Pirates!, The great giani sisters, Last ninja series, International Karate +, Manic Mansion

Serveral available on other formats but 'at home' on the c64 (for me).

thanx! i haven?t run most of them, i?ll check them.
in every case, uridium was the only which came to my mind when guessing with my very limited experiences, what such "essentially c64" games could be..

that's what i believe, could you recommend a handful of C64 ones displaying according to you a special "poetics" of that machine?

mayhem in monsterland looks pretty breathtaking,
armalyte and salamander is both great shooters.

i guess the c64 was better for arcade style games
