I bought myself some mineral water today.

It was just like tap water, but it cost 51p.

YMMV. Tap water makes me thirsty - and in some areas makes me ill.

I now buy 60 litres of mineral water at a time - the Tesco delivery man must *love* me...

I bought a tap (faucet) filter for mine. Screws right onto it and produced filtered (and mineralized if I fork out the exta $2 for the higher filter).

Makes a big difference to the taste...can't drink tap water now....cheaper than buying bottled water...filter costs $10 for the replacement and lasts about 3 months.

I remember reading an article a couple years ago saying that either mineral or spring water (cant remember which) had 11 times more pesticides in it that tap water...so if you drink it for health reasons...your screwed.

wouldn't it be cheaper to have sunny delight plumbed into your house? (more fun too when your liver turns orange)

11 times miniscule is still miniscule, and not all tap water is the same.

Coca Cola tried selling tap water as Dansani over here three years ago

Pepsi still sell bottled tap water in the USA.

I live in south wales and the water here used to be great as is came from the Breacons. But now they are putting flouride in the water as the little scamps of south wales (from Merthyr probably :p) arn't brushing their teeth as much as they should.

What a bout a nice bottle of Peckhams springs eh?

Being a bit of a water con-o'-sewer I have to throw in my two pennies worth ... Dasani is garbage, garbage, garbage ... unless you like soft water.

Aquafina on the other hand ... now that's mighty fine water.

I spend a minimum of $6.32 on water per month ... I get Cub Foods Spring Water, the one gallon kind, and go through a minimum of two gallons a week ... during the summer I go through personally about a gallon each or every other day.

    Erm ... tmi?
