Does anyone remember the Mr. T cartoon which was on TV around 1986? It featured him and a gang of young female gymnasts who solved crimes and at the end of each episode there was a live action segment where he explained the "lesson of the day" in his own unique way. 'Twas quality viewing. :)
LOL! Haven't seen that before. And he's looking good after what must be 20 years since the A-team ended.
I'm quite surprised you haven't seen it until now. It's been on TV a lot over the past couple of weeks, and has certainly been a talking point amongst all of us who are old enough to appreciate it!
I thought he had one and half foot in the grave a few years back, [strike]didn't he have some sort of a debilitating physical thing going on similar to MS? [/strike] Then a few weeks back I saw him on one of the religious channels with only a couple of gold chains and looking fairly thin-looking but at least alive and/or kicking.
EDIT
According to his IMDb bio he had cancer.
Couple of witty Mr. T quotes:
"When I was growing up, my family was so poor we couldn't afford to pay attention."
"As a kid, I got three meals a day. Oatmeal, miss-a-meal and no meal."
I was expecting on those 118118 shitty adverts when that similarish tune to the A-Team started with the tank (or is it THE tune?)
"Otherwise you'll meet my friend PAAAAAIN!" Brilliant! He looks really good for a guy in his mid-fifties (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001558/). Didn't know he was Hulk Hogans tag-team partner after Rocky 3, and was even more surprised to find out that his name is not a close encounter of the complete wussy kind.
Laurence Tureaud. Not bad, although his surname is a bit like "turd" if you say it quick!

Necros.
Remember the equally terrible rap he did? It may have actually been called "I pity the fool".
I remember it had a break in it where a young kid falls over and a man walking past laughs at him. Mr T pops up and says something like "Man sucka that kid been played for a fool, here's what he should have done". Then it shows you the clip again and when the kid falls he does a few breakdance moves and the guy who laughed gives him much Respek.
......Or that could have actually been one of his lessons of the day.
