Speccy 48k+ software pack

edited May 2007 in Games
When my dad bought our Speccy 48k+ all those years ago it came with a software pack. I was trying to remember what it came with. These are the ones I remember:

Chequered Flag
Survival
Tasword Two
Somekind of 3D drawing software
I think a spreadsheet software of some sort

Anyone remember what the last two were called, and have I missed any?

Not sure on the drawing software, maybe you mean VU-3D ?

Mine (48k purchased in 1984) came with...

    Obviosly the Horizons tape

    Scrabble
    Chequered Flag
    Make a chip
    Survival
    Chess
And something else i cannot remember  , those were in a large pack.

Hope thats some help anyway :)

    Yes, it was VU-3D

And mine also had Scrabble, Chess and Make a Chip. I'd forgotten those.

    Thanks.

Wasn't "Reversi" also one of them?

Tasword Two was in a large-ish box, larger than a standard casette case.

Bet there were several packs at that time :)

I remember mine was the only pack available when i got my 48k , it came free with it (the six games were in a big carboard sleeve with a plastic front)

    Speccy + Games was 149.99 :)

I`m fairly sure that there were three different packs. They had the basic things in each like make a chip, survival, scrabble, and the others were a mixture of adventure, design, and horace games. As far as I know they were all in the same flat black box with a plastic front. They were given out by the big retailers like smiths, boots etc.
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........

I've just found a shrinkwrapped copy of the Speccy + introductory tape.

I figured this would be the first thing to get unwrapped when someone bought a new computer! (Unless they went straight to Knight Lore...!)

Trust my dad to get the pack with the boring utilities in it!

In the end he never even used them, I used it for playing Elite!....and a couple of hundred other games.
