That latest muppet on that RG thread is doing my head in. Obvious hes never touched a Speccy in his life, never played a game and saying crap about Commando that it just looks like an old crappy Atari VCS game !
If your gonna pick holes on a Speccy game Commando is one of the worst to use as its a great game, even the rest of the C64 fans are saying the same. This noob though is being annoying !
You'll probably be glad to know, then, that we're gaining about 100 posts per day on Lemon64, which is said to be the most important C64 site :-)
Yeah I noticed a change over the last year or two - WOS used to be way behind in posts compared to Lemon64, but that's all changed now. I don't know why that would be though, to be honest. Maybe some C64 fans are fed up with Lemon64. I know one prominent fan who is still actively involved in the scene that quit Lemon64 last year out of frustration at some of the posters there. Couldn't blame him, really.

On an unrelated note (probably) the WoSF has seen some active members suddenly disappear over the years too. The 2 Alessandro's, Cyborg, Sharopolis, monty.mole, Matt Gubbins, et al have all but quit the scene it would appear.

Don't worry, I'm still lurking around behind the scenes - you can't get rid of me that easily! I'm slowly getting back into the Speccyverse after an involuntary absence. One day I may even start on my 256-colour Batman version in EmuzWin, along with the long-awaited Crap Castle Master 2... :p

Maybe one of them is an older, future self who traveled back in time and that's why you can't see both of them at the same time/place ... he/they are being considerate of the space/time continuum ... or something like that, you know.

Thought I'd stir the pot a bit more and make a few more postings. I'm making up for lost time, as no one really liked c64s at school, so never had any playground arguments. Everyone loved the Speccy.

That'd be fantastic! My favourite version of Head Over Heels is the 256 colour Speccy version in EmuZWin, and Batman would compliment it beautifully.
Now Fairlight in colour, though... Could you perhaps consider doing Fairlight first?
