Big brother is shite. I'll still watch it though. I can't help it. I hope someone dies / has a serious accident this year so that it gets scrapped. Then again, what will be put in it's place ? More reality bollox. TV sucks. Thats why I'm mainly in the pub. Pubs without televisions.

maybe a reality camera should follow you around, documenting you getting drunk and getting into adventures while under the influence.

Also Dekh come on you're from the Northeast it's Charva....not Chav (although Burberry aside there is only a slight difference):D

In Scotland the term is NED.

I believe the Scottish Parliament debated whether it was alright to refer to 'em as NED's (Non Educated Delinquent). That kinda sums up the Scottish Parliament.

Try www.tv-links.co.uk. I just discovered this site a few days ago and it's a great source of quality programmes. :)

That looks like a good site, how can you download the files?

Also, do you have any more links like that?

What happened to the world where people actually admit to watching shit like that.

Its just simple throwaway tv and can be entertaining. I'm no fan or Dr Who, i wouldnt admit to any of my friends i watch that. Cant stand it.

Big Brother we all know is crap but if you want 40 minutes or so just to laugh at some muppets on tv its entertaining.

After the first week or two i turn off, the british public are stupid as anything, they vote out the 'loud entertaining' one to keep the boring hippies in and then moan when the last 2 months nothing happens.

I know the programs shit but having a quick flick round the channels its not too bad to watch. With tons of stuff to download, TV to watch online, Sky etc i'm surprised theres such a fuss about the show being on.

Dont think you can download them, you may be able to use a Flash grabber to download some of the flv files (bit like youtube) but others are realvideo so i'm unsure how to grab those.

Most of the links seem to work, tried some early Sopranos but none of those work but theres a ton of stuff on it. Had a quick click on the german office, that was very amusing (no subtitles though). Didnt realise Germany did humour ! ;)

This about sums up all that is wrong with Big Brother:

    http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=269120

"A decision by the makers of [the Australian] Big Brother to not tell a contestant her father has died has been condemned as inhumane, unethical and psychologically damaging.

Contestant Emma's father Raymond Cornell died last week and his funeral was held on Monday in Adelaide, but the 24-year-old is still unaware of his death."

If that was me I'd sue the arse off them. How dare they make her miss her own father's funeral.

As her dad had cancer and appeared to be in the very serious stages surely she had a chat with him about what to do if he died before she entered the house ? Her boyfriend thinks she should stay in and apparently her dad said the same thing before he died.

I'm sure if her mother wanted her to come out 100% she would get her out but as it was her fathers wishes she stayed in then i think theyre doing the right thing. Its not a prison, if one member of her family wanted her out she would be out 100%

Went to the Australian big brother website...

"Big Brother is aware of and understands many of the concerns the public has expressed upon learning the sad news of Housemate Emma’s father’s death. Emma’s family is appreciative of the care and support her fans have extended. However, this week’s media speculation is mostly uninformed, inaccurate and the cause of much distress to Emma’s family. Emma’s brother Matt has written asking that we help clarify the situation. His letter appears here."

    http://bigbrother.3mobile.com.au/news/A-letter-from-Emmas-brother-195.html

I do wish people would jump to conclusions ! Read the letter and then think if Oz Big Brother is so 'evil'. As her brother says "we’re stunned by the reaction of so many that have based their opinions on a total lack of knowledge of our family’s internal workings"

Reality TV is the reason I buy DVDs.

Reality TV is a contradiction in terms, like:

    Civil war
    Military intelligence
    Microsoft Works
    Rap music
    Political correctness
...to name but a few :)
I never make misteaks mistrakes misyales errurs — oh, sod it.

Hmmm ... I've wondered about "pretty ugly" ... that's not technically an oxymoron, per se (imo). Why? The word "pretty" is in this case used as an indicator of severity or lack thereof. "Pretty" is just a substitute for (as an example) "fairly" as in "this dog is fairly ugly" ... so in this case it no longer has anything to do with beauty except just as a word on its own or used in a different context.

    Yes?No?
