Adventure B: Inca Curse.
I brought this tape at a car boot sale this weekend.
It is Inca Curse by Artic Computing.
I noticed that the tape and insert sleeve say (c)1981 Artic Computing.
Were games being made for the Spectrum before its release. Were a few companies made privy to the Spectrum before release??
Whilst we are on the topic has anyone got a list of all the games that were available in the Sinclair branded cassettes (before the Amstrad years).
Andrew.

Ok, I can understand that. However the game requires 48K. How can adding coloured text push the game over to 48k??
Unless there are images in the game I have not come accross??
A.
Necros.
Well my inlay says 48K and so does the print on the cassette.

Or it could be because the 16k Spectrum has much less room for programs than the 16k ZX81 (6912 bytes reserved for the screen rather than the ZX81's maximum of 793).
ZXF issue 10 has an article on the Sinclair brand (for the Spectrum); there's an online version of the main article here:

and a list of the titles here:
