Does anyone remember this game ?

One of the 1st games that uswed clever programming techniques to get around the colour clash problem.

Anyone know how they did it ?

Remember it? I still play it.

Brilliant looking game: large sprites, colourful graphics and indeed reduced attribute clash. It still impresses me as it captures the feel and look of the telly show so well. All that's missing is Willie Ruston's narration.

I'm no programmer though - don't have the foggiest idea how they made it.

yea, it looks great, but it's a simple idea. simple and effective. you dont need graphics that big but it does help alot with detail in the graphics. it's design also. notice how not matter how hard you try you cant jump and make even the tip of your head crossover a window or something, its set up so that, nothing Will clash. the backgrounds all fall within the cells and upon collision you stop, therefore you cant have colours clashing.
